About Me!

Growing up, my curiosity about the world was sparked during countless road trips with my family that took me to over 40 U.S. states. Rather than satisfying my curiosity, these journeys fueled a passion for journalism. Now a student at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and a staff writer for The Northwestern Business Review and The Daily Northwestern, I'm immersed in uncovering stories.

I have never viewed journalism as a single-faceted field, and my time at Northwestern has allowed me to delve into its cross-sectionally with my interests in economics, data science, and marketing. As a research aide at the Medill Spiegel Research Center, I've contributed to projects like the Local News Initiative, examining customer engagements to develop audience-supported business models for local newspapers nationwide. Recently, I assisted in synthesizing audience data with R for the Institute for Nonprofit News, crafting reports for nonprofit partners.

At the Institute for Business Education (ISBE), I blend my journalism and marketing skills as a Project Manager and Marketing Analyst. In the fall of 2023, I led a product team in creating marketing campaigns for the local Evanston design store Pink & Tan.

When Iā€™m not working with clubs on campus, I can be found fostering connections with alumni for the Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Northwestern ā€” where I produce a quarterly newsletter and run vibrant Facebook and LinkedIn groups.

My passion for the intersection of journalism, economics, data science, and marketing is evident in every aspect of my life, driving me to immerse myself in diverse communities at Northwestern.
